Lagering...Carbonation

If I’m lagering a pils for 30 days, any reason I can’t slow carb the beer over the final 10-14 days of lagering?  Any ill effects?

In my limited lagering experience there is no reason not to go ahead and put the CO2 on.  It has worked well on the last six lagers I’ve brewed.

Yep, that’s fine.  No need to wait for the final 10-14 days.  If you want, put the gas on right away.  I prefer to do it that way so the keg is fully pressurized while it’s lagering.

I’ve always force carbonated at the beginning of lagering.  I believe in Germany they seal up the lagering vessel near the end of the fermentation just to get natural carbonation while it lagers.

No worries here. I would go ahead and plan to slowly carb the beer during lagering. Carbonating the beer will also help extend the shelflife of the beer.

Best way to have the beer ready when you are done lagering so you don’t have to wait another 3-4 days!
