Length of counter pressure bottling line?

When bottling from the keg using a counter pressure bottle filler, how long should the beer line be? The same length as when filling a glass with a faucet?

I understand draught dynamics (the resistance pressure should equal the serving pressure), but perhaps bottling and the dynamics of a counter pressure filler changes things?

Since it’s counter-pressure, there should be no breakout of CO2 and the line length shouldn’t matter. Depending on the specifics of your CPF rig, that may not really be true. I’d just start with whatever’s practical and go from there.

FWIW, my beer gun came with about 9.5 feet of beer line. I agree that it shouldn’t matter, though.

Gotcha, thanks!
