Soak the container in hot water for 30 minutes before you open it.  It’ll run a lot thinner.

Soaking container in hot water is good to get it to flow better. To get any remaining goodness - add hot water to container, swirl, pour.

+1.  a cup of HOT water and some swirling should get all the goodness out of the container.  A Spatula can also help:)

If you can do it without burning yourself:
I always used to slosh a little of the hot water/wort from the kettle around in the bottle and then return to the kettle.

I was concerned that I may have left too much in but my OG was on the high end so not a problem.

This is the best option I’ve found.

Me too. Prewarming the extract just makes it easier and quicker to pour. Something I don’t bother with anymore.

And, have you considered only adding half of the extract first and adding the rest at the end of the boil? A great way to improve hop utilization and combat unwanted maillard reactions.
