A study at Villanova has determined that hops could grow well on Mars (among other plants.) Their next study will include barley, but others have already assessed that rye could be grown.

Martian Beer: Historically brewed at 3 times the gravity of Earth beers. Most notable versions were called All Day plus 40 Minutes IPA, and Monkey Face Rock IPA. All Martian beers were called IPA because the hops were sooooo amazing. Oh, and they all had peet smoked malt.
Edit for fact check. Apparantly they were called IPA for Intergalactic Pale Ale, which needed extra dry hops for the long journey to Andromeda.
