Me being a beer snob

Pic is worth a thousand words.  (Thanks to SHMBO for the gift of the Glass!)

I have the same one.  Love it !

Put your BEER SNOB pics in this thread eh?

I have a bunch of nice Belgian chalices… I’ll post my favorite when I get home.

I thought this one was super cool, and they gave it to me for free at the brewery, but (un)fortunately it was the only thing that broken in my suitcase.

Last night I had a glass of my Dark Belgian Ale with carmelized figs and bourbon soaked oak chips in one of my Spencer Abbey Ale chalices. I thought it was pretty as a picture. My brother runs the gift store for the monks so I get a family discount on the glasses. Snobby enough?

No.  You need to have a handlebar mustache and fuss over a pumpkin peach ale to be a real beer snob.

The mountains turn blue to let me know the beer is cold.

Here I was ready to vote for Jon and now I’m conflicted.

Just kidding - I laughed.

It’s my camping glass. I figure it gives me the best chance of not mixing it up with somebody else and I won’t care if it breaks.

I like to drink out of my horn when I’m feeling superior [emoji12]

Now THAT I would take camping. Keeps the bugs out and is a potential defense from wild animals.

A few of my Belgians - I’ve got duplicates of most of these.  Somewhere there is a box with some others stored in it.

EDIT -  Family and good friends get these, shaker pints for everybody else.

That has to be one of the coolest steins I’ve ever seen. I’ve got a few cool ones, but that’s pretty unique.

This is my fave beer snob glass. It does have a bad habit of making everything inside it taste overrated, though…

That’s funny.

If I interpret this thread correctly, then I am the coolest person on this forum, simply by virtue of being Belgian. And so, obviously, there’s no reason for me to own any of these snob glasses. Which I don’t.

Mmm, nope, I think you’re missing the point.

You give homebrew to people other than family and good friends?

Yeah, sometimes. My wife throws parties where there can be a fair number of people I don’t know. And my neighbors ( many of whom used to be suspicious at what I was cooking in the garage) have all gravitated over on weekends to see what’s on tap. Usually they’re nice enough to bring something in trade. All good. I brew more than I can drink.
