Measuring PH

I have been reading these forums for a while, but this is the first time I have asked any questions to tap into the extensive knowledge here.

I was hoping to get some opinions on the best / most accurate / cheapest / easiest way to measure mash PH.  Do the strips work well?  Is the expensive digital one the best way to go?

Any input is appreciated.
