Nanomashing...anyone tried this?

In the latest edition of zymurgy, there was an article called nanomashing…has anyone tired this?  Sounds like a good idea, but I’m new to writing my own grain bill so I wanted to ask.  I’m trying to develop a “flagship” APA.
Thanks!

I have not done the nanomashing, although it looked like a good exercise to try, but I have been doing one gallon BIAB batches to get a feel for a recipe I am wanting to try.

If having a 2-gallon mashtun counts then yes, I have tried it. It is good for pilot batches or mini-mashes etc…

The same principles apply so trying to squeeze too much grain into the tun with a low water to grain ratio will result in a poor conversion.
