New equipment

i finally broke down and put a proper mash/lauter tun together. Oh my, this is so much simpler than fighting my makeshift stuff. Brewing a Heffewiezen as the first as they have been the most difficult to lauter. Kicking myself strongly for putting this off soooo long.

I think the rule is ‘It didn’t happen unless there are pictures.’

Do I need to use photo bucket here or is there a direct link?

Good enough?

Perfect!  I (we, I’m sure) just like seeing other people’s setup.  Looks great, and I’m sure you will enjoy using it.  Love the Speidel as well - they are great.

Nothing wrong with looking.

I like the Speidel for the handles. I am disabled and it helps with moving them around. This is my fourth batch overall and appears to be going well. I am finally getting the hang of beer smith. I hit my mash in temp right on and had just the right amount of sparge  water. My brew assistant gives a thumbs up.

Your assistant gazes upon your brewing operation with utterly laid-back approval.

No , that is the peak of excitement.

looks good! i have a feline brewing partner that gives me the same look of pure unadulterated excitement when im brewing

Bruno just isn’t sure if its OK for the girls to be eating the spent grain.

Where’s the ‘like’ button?

Great picture. The look on the dog’s face is priceless.

Great picture!!

Having grown up raising chickens in a barn I’m not sure I’d brew anywhere near them but if it works for you, great!
