I have a family account with my father and I wanted to be able to register both of us at the same time for NHC, anyone have any information on this?

Each AHA member can register one guest. So, regardless of who fills out the registration information one of you can register the other. Just register yourself, then add another person before completing your registration.

I need to register 4 family members who are also AHA members. Am I going to be able to get that done with a single login??

Let me clarify… Each member can register one “non-member” guest.
In the registration system, you can add up to 10 AHA members on one registration form. To do this you’ll need each person’s 9-digit AHA number and email address associated with their HomebrewersAssociation.org profile.

…naturally, after bitching all year about this, I recently found out I cannot go this year.

I was unable to purchase just the banquet ticket. Not sure why, it let me select it, then when I wnet to the next page, it wanted me to select one of the other options, which is not an option.
If you go back and click “View or Change your Existing Registration” you should be able to add it. Click “Agenda” by your name.
Grand Banquet tickets must be purchased with a package. You can’t buy just a ticket to the dinner.
What is a non-member guest not permitted to take part in? Seminars? Beer samples?
Oh I misunderstood what you were trying to do.
No restrictions, they just need a member to register them.
