Not Pitching

Just want to confirm that I can leave my wort overnight in the fermenter without pitching. It’s covered with aluminum foil for now (I could put on airlock).

It’s a bit too high to pitch by about 5 degrees, not sure if it’ll drop down and I’m too lazy to get ice tonight.

I’m doing the same thing right now. You’re good to go.

Yes.  With good sanitation there is nothing to worry about.

I do the same thing when I brew at night.  Wake up in the morning and it’s ready to pitch.

After letting the wort sit for long periods do you re-areate it?

At least in my case I ONLY aerate before pitching so I’m only doing it once.

Yeah I realized my question didn’t make much sense. I aerate with gravity while transferring to the fermenter. If I continued this process I suppose I would just have to aerate again. I would probably only leave overnight if I was doing a lager.
