When opening a new bottle of sodium metabisulfite, there’s no need to take a sniff.
Ha! Another one: No need to stick your head in the newly emptied fermenter to smell the hops.
When smelling boiling wort there is no need to put your face directly in the wort.
Funny stuff ! I posted it in a different thread lately, but just because you’re a hophead doesn’t make eating hop pellets or Hop Shot a remotely good move. 
And while hops may be a cousin to something else, if you try smoking hops you’ll regret it!
If there’s a finicky connection between your scale and its power supply, it doesn’t help to plug it in and lick the terminal.
