Just got this text from my neighbor. It made me smile…
In Hannover Germany, barman just poured me a killer bavarian beer and said “you
dont get this kinda beer in the states”. I said “you dont know my neighbor…”
Gotta love this hobby…

Love it… that is the best kind of compliment.
Only would have been better if you were there in person! I once had a similar statement made by a brewpub bartender, only to have a few friends I was with just point at me and say “you should taste his beer!”

No, it would have been better if he had a bottle of your beer because I’m sure the bartender didn’t believe him. I’ve met some Germans.
