Old Brew

So I want to brew a batch of beer soon but I have an old Pale Ale which I brewed 5-6 years ago which has set in the secondary and was forgotten about after having a couple kids.  Is it safe to drink?  Do I just dump it?  And will I need to do anything special to clean out my secondary bucket after having that in there so long?
Thanks!

Dump it. Whatever yeast are in the secondary will have long died and given off nasty meaty character (ie., autolysis), and the beer will be severely oxidized. Safe, yes. Vile? Beyond belief . I’d scrub it clean with a bleach solution using a wash cloth, and rinse with lots of hot water. Better yet, buy a new fermenter.

I thought about just dumping and  getting a new fermenter  haha  thanks
