overpitching in a lager?

Kegged a helles last night and saved about 400 mL of slurry from the fermenter. Today brewed a 1.058 CAP and without thinking poured most of that slurry (probably at least 360 mL) into the cooled wort at 50F. Mr. Malty had only recommended around 215 mL of slurry (444 billion cells) for this 5.5 gallon batch. Is this an overpitch or just relax and have a homebrew situation?

Obviously, nothing can be done now, just curious what everyone thinks with regards to overpitching a lager?

It’s technically an overpitch but I wouldn’t worry. Pretty hard to overpitch a lager to detrimental results. No worries IMO.

not to mention the calc is a crap shoot with all the variables anyway- no worries IMO either.

It is really hard to overpitch a lager.

Thanks.  That’s what I thought too.  I still had a reasonable lag time which is healthy IMO.
