Pils cloudy after whirlpooling

End of a 90 minute boil was clear; good break, but whenever i whirl thru my CFWC, it clouds up. Is it better to let it settle out first, then chill?

I chill immediately, let it settle for a bit, then drain to fermenter.  IME this haze doesn’t stay with the beer and clears out.  No worries.

Are you using Irish moss or Whirlflock?

I use a CFC as well and even when things settle out nicely and I begin to chill I still get a bit of cloudy wort into the primary, IME everything still settles out nicely when I package or lager in the keg, I wouldn’t worry about it. But, as Major mentioned, if you are not using any finings you should:)

If you still have a cloudy issue when everything is done you can certainly try some gelatin to clear it up  in the end.
