I had never heard of this. Are any of you familiar with the Pilsner Festival, hosted by Pilsner Urquell?
It takes place the first weekend in October. Looking at making hotels reservations now. Pilsner beer only, my kind of place to be!
Seems to have the same features of any day you visit the brewery.
Best Pils festival is Pils Pride, in Birrificio Italiano, between Como and Milan.
Year I was there, besides Agostino, we had Toft, Brydnilson, and Kemper.
There were 10 different European Pils
It’s not very big.
You need a car to get there, which you can rent.
Yes, and we have visited the brewery. This was my thought also. But it’s on a much larger scale. And we would plan to spend time in Prague, exploring more breweries. The food there is to-die-for good!

FYI , Oktoberfest ends the day before and it’s a 2.5 bus ride from Plzen.
