Pnuematic bottle capper.

Making life a little easier if you like the convenience and portability of bottles.

Can you load multiple caps or do you place each cap individually?  Also how big of a compressor is needed?  I asu e it needs one.

I place cap on each bottle and place it, then hit the floor switch! And yes you need a very small compressor runs about 90 psi. The one I use has about a 2 gallon tank. All my capping issues are over.

I just see shattered glass.

How hard was it to dial in so that you’re not breaking bottles?

I have broken the neck off a few just with the red handled capper I have.

But that’s just cuz your arms are huge.

Seriously, though, I’ve broken a few myself with a hand capper.

Im going to get a decent lever type capper this winter. And when my sours are done I’ll need a corker too. It never ends

Check out one of these. Wine Corkers

Decent reviews. Metal is certainly better for the long haul, but I only cap ~150 bottles a year.

Interesting. When the time comes I’ll look into that.

No dial in required. Needs about 85psi to seal the bottle. Have capped over 200 bottles. ZERO breakage with the pnuematic unit.
I broke more bottles with the red capper as well as the red capper, twice. Never will go back.
The die from the Super Agatha. Threads match the cylinder and seals the cap better than the cheap ones.

Looks pretty interesting.  I use an Italian floor corker with the bottle capper attachment.  1 tool for corking and capping since I do both ;D

very cool!

Cool! Looks less tiring than my table caper.
How do you manage bottles of different heights?

The base plate made from 1" nylon I had laying around is drilled at two different depths and rotates 180 for short bottles or longnecks. I prefer using Boulevard brewing bottles as they take up less room ( height) but I do longnecks occasionally. The cylinder has a 3" stroke and 2" bore.
