Post your Nat'l Homebrew Day photos

I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone did for Nat’l Homebrew Day.

Here’s the beginnings of an old school, back to the basics, English Pale Ale.

Waiting for Strike to cool for mash-in

Mash-in: letting nature take it’s course.

Run off is spot on

Another smooth brew day in the books. Cheers!

33 gallon day

Today I am brewing a Helles. Here is a pic of the mash.

And boiling:

Very simple recipe. 100% German Pils malt, 19 IBU Magnum @ 60, 0.25 oz/3G Crystal at 5 min, and MJ M76 Bavarian Lager yeast.

Our Club brewed over 200 gallons at 3 different locations.

Brewed up a NE Session Pale yesterday! Recipe was based on a previous one I had done which was a great success (the best session pale I have ever had! Came in about 4.3% last time).

Grist was very similar, just small tweaks… Golden Promise is the base malt. Replaced white wheat with flaked wheat, added some oats… Hops this time were Columbus, Azacca, Mandarina Bavaria and Belma.

OG of 1.044, FG expected at 1.011.

Smoooooth brew day!

Awesome pictures, wish I was able to brew yesterday.  Scout leader training had me in the woods all day.
