The country is Belgium, beers(and other things) from there are Belgian. They are Belgian beers brewed in Belgium. Nouns and adjectives people.
I’m sure I’m not the first…

One of my pet peeves, too…
Yup, makes me crazy when people say “I tried this Belgium beer . . .”
I still to this day have to double check my spelling as I sometimes type before I think.
Spelling is not my strong point.
I’d honestly have to say that New Belgian’s 1554 is one of my favorite commercial beers. Although, it is a little lighter in color than it used to be and doesn’t have quite the red tint it used to have.
I had an England beer last night. A Fuller’s 1845 which kick the pants off any New Belgian beer. Especially 1554.
I make a great America beer.
I also like Californian commons (?).
Thanks guys. :
I enjoy a nice France wine once in a while too…
Great thread! sips on a Russia Imperial Stout 8)
I’ll pass on Belgium beers and just stick with my India pale ale. ;D
Good one!
Wouldn’t that be a United Soviet Solcialist Republic Imperial Stout?
Belgian chicks are hot!
Czek pils are wet!
No, back in the day it might have been a Union of Soviet Socialist Republics Imperial Stout, but that ended 19 years ago.
Union - socialism, not a new concept.

Not necessarily. Russia remained a state after the Revolution, although a part of the Soviet Union. Soviet Russia means something specific, despite its misuse by many (including the British Government in the 1920s and 1930s).
This issue is really one of my bugbears.
“I’m not a Frenchy. I’m a Belgy.”

I’ll take a Belgium Double…on second thought make it a triple.
