I was testing my system out tonight and noticed the regulator was sweating quite a bit. Keep in mind, it’s probably still in the high 80’s this evening in Florida. Once I move the regulator permanently inside the kegerator, would this be a normal issue?
If you have been purging O2 by running a lot of CO2, the regulator will get cold due to the expansion of the CO2 dropping the temperature. To put it simply, it is the opposite of when you pump up a bicycle tire and the hand pump gets hot from compressing the gas.
