I’ve used it with a CAP. Be sure to keep the temperatures down in the low 50 degF range. I let it get close to 60 and it was overly fruity/estery. Use the Mr. Malty Yeast Pitching Rate calculator to determine how many packets you need to use.
I’ve used it a few times to make the worst beers I’ve ever made. Disgustingly fruity even after nearly a year of lagering. I’ve heard reports that uif you run it in the 60s it turns out better than it does in the 50s, but I’ll never know because I’ll never use it again.
