It is the beginning of Summer. Lots of people will be swimming and thousands will die from drowning. Often people right next to someone drowning do not realize it. Please watch this video so that you can recognize what drowning looks like and save someone’s life.

Caution! in my training and several seasons as a life guard, the victim will try to climb on top of your head
especially in high panic moments. You as the rescue person must be aware of this response as well else you
become the victim.
This is why my only water activities are slip and slides. The only drowning I risk is drowning in too much fun. 8)
