My wife is graduating tomorrow so we’re here for the ceremony. Our daughter wanted a beer so we went to the liquor store across the street from our hotel and I found Schlenkerla Urbock for $5. I bought a baker’s dozen tonight and will probably buy the rest tomorrow. I was really surprised to find it here, but if they can get it here I should be able to find it in Carlsbad.
Nice - I love that beer, I think it’s way better than the Schlenkerla Marzen. So smooth and sweet and smoky. 
That was the first smoked beer I ever had, fresh from Bamburg courtesy of some friends. Delicious!
Now that you know there’s a NM distributor, you can probably get your local liquor store to order you a case or two. You might even get fresher beer that way.
The liquor manager at our local grocery store will order anything on her lists, and she gives us access to the wholesale catalog, but I’ve never found Aecht Schlenkerla in there. I’ll have to look again when I get home.
