Having a blast at the Kolping Club’s annual Schutzenfest. Plenty of great beer to sample: Paulaner, Hacker-Schorr, Warsteiner all with several taps at their booths/tents. Loved fresh Salvator from Paulaner and Warsteiner Dunkel. Missed out on the Oktoberfest from Paulaner. Cream puffs as big as your head, traditional brats and metts, German potato salad, schnitzel sandwiches, etc. Overall, a great afternoon!
Uhhh, yeah! I would say that is a KILLER afternoon!
But what about the Schutzen-ing?
Sounds great, I’ll have to mark my calendar for next year. Smoked a few chickens and brewed a Kölsch this afternoon.

The Eagle seemed to fall earlier than usual. We had a table right near the shooting area, huge round of applause for the new Schutzenfest King when the eagle finally fell. Started to rain shortly thereafter, but we all went inside and enjoyed the bierhaus and all the wonderful treats to be found inside mentioned in OP
