Recently i have been getting slow or incomplete fermentations. using US05 and White labs pure pitch. I was wondering though: the last 2 batches i racked almost no trub from the BK. could the wort not have enough trup for an active ferment?
Maybe but not likely. If these are all grain, check your thermometer calibration.

It could have something to do with fermentation temperature.
I had this problem when I first started brewing. My fermenting bucket was on my kitchen floor; I kept a thermometer on a nearby counter. The thermometer would read 68-79 degrees.
At one point, I took the thermometer from the counter and put it on the floor, next to the bucket. There was a five or six degree difference.
