I went outside and cut this year’s yule log along with a bit of hemlock and mountain laurel in preparation for the solstice tomorrow. Decided a couple Ayinger goats would make it festive.
Fingers crossed that we get to see the Jupiter and Saturn conjunction, its supposed to be partly cloudy.
I have been watching Jupiter and Saturn every evening this week, getting closer and closer together. I am disappointed that people are being led to believe that the only time worth watching is that single day of the conjunction. That will be quite cool, but watching the event unfold over time is even better, and I will continue to watch after tomorrow.
