So my Best Friend and I have talked about owning a brewery since we started brewing, and while we have a few years of testing and procedure to explore id like to make some glassware. We are currently working out branding etc while waiting for our space and system to come together. Do any of your guys have a recommended company for good 1color glassware in the 50-150 piece area?
I’ve shopped around a bit and Grandstand is very nearly the cheapest for low-volume orders like that. They also have the service of a big company, which isn’t a given in that industry as it turns out. 16 oz shaker pints with a one-color logo run about $1-2 depending on quantity.
Perfect thanks Sean. I want to get ~100ish pint glasses and some tasting glasses for the brewery all with logo. I had been looking through their website but with so many options on the internet i could of looked for years without making a decision.
We did 500 or so shaker glasses from Grandstand for an event in September. I can’t say enough good things about them. Customer service was great. Printing and delivery was timely. Good people, good service, good product, good price.
We did three color printing and we were under $2 a glass.
SHipping is pretty crazy. i was looking at 250 glasses of 2 different types and the shipping was about 25% of the quote. i can only imagine the shipping would get cheaper as you order more because of freight costs. Still not a bad deal at about 2.50 a glass or so! How is the glass quality Joe? Did you have any breakage etc?
Zero breakage. They were well packed and delivered on a pallet. I’m not far from them (I thnk they’re in Milwaukee) so that might have kept shipping lower. I don’t recall for sure but shipping could well have been 100+. Regardless, all in cost was under $2 per glass.
The glasses are solid standard shaker glasses. No frills but sturdy. There’s at least one other organization locally that orders from them for wine glasses for a fundraiser. I believe one of the local bars also orders from them, but they go with tulips so the prices are much higher.
Never priced Boelter but I think that was the other place recommended by the bar owners.
Yes and no.
They do not have a lot of stuff in stock and lot of stuff has to be special ordered. If this is the case their minimum is around 500 pieces. They said that they will open second warehouse in NY state and this should solve the issue.
They also have stuff that they run sale on and this is little better.
Shipping from grandstrand is about 100 per skid for me. They will ship freight only.
Do NOT use Discount Mugs. I ordered three color screen printing and got a lower quality water decal instead. That and there was about a 25% fail rate on decals that I didn’t think were up to QC standards. They did another run of single color on the house after I complained, but there’s still smudging on some.
