Getting closer to reasonable price. A bottom yeast dump would be nice though. I wonder how long it will be till someone comes out with a plastic conical for the cheap brewer.

I decided to go ahead and give one of these a try (they now sell a version with a thermowell).  I just pitched the yeast earlier this morning.

I’m in the process of modifying the lid to attach a corny keg gas post in place of the airlock.  I just need to get a solid stopper and drill a smaller hole.
