Starter tastes like Cider

Should I be worried  ???

I’ll probably run and get some dry yeast just in case, but FWIW it’s Wyeast 1332 Northwest Ale, starter was Light DME.

Unless it definitely tastes nasty I wouldn’t worry. Starters aren’t usually very good.

My guess is that it fermented warm (which is fine). Cold crash it and decant the wort before pitching.
