Starting a NEW Homebrew Club Advice

Hi All:

FYI: I’m looking into starting a new homebrew club, as the nearest club is about 11 miles from me. I’m in a semi new ( ~2 years ) development, and there is much building going on in the area. I think this new area could be benefit from a club closer to home. Don’t get me wrong, the nearest club right now is a good one, but getting back and forth requires some serious coinage . Uber cost currently is about ~$30 bucks each way making a round trip ~$60 before even the first beer.

So, does anyone have any recommendations for building a dyi website ? Something that won’t break the back? Easy to use?

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,

JayB.

Exciting Jay. I’ll let the commuity contribute to website input, and want to share some general AHA resouces for club leaders.

-Once you create your club please notify the AHA so we can include you in the world’s most robust club directory. Here is the form.
-Consider club insurance here.
-The AHA has LOTS of resources for homebrew clubs. Use HomebrewersAssociation.org ‘search’ bar. Here is example search using ‘Club resources’ as keyword search.
-Please keep using the AHA Forum as a venue to ask questions and also ensure you opt-in to get AHA emails to stay up to date on new club information and content you can share with your members.
-If I as your national org Executive Director can virtually present to your new club to help generate interest and be a resource I’d love to. Request here.

Cheers and keep us posted on your progress!
