I saw a couple of old threads (pics of brews and what’s brewing this weekend) that had hundreds of entries. Getting to the newest ones requires scrolling and loading, scrolling and loading.
Would it be acceptable if I started new threads for these topics with titles to suggest they are current? I just don’t want to violate some protocol and be forced into drinking some swill as punishment. 
I think it is okay to try. Whether the new one catches on is to be determined.
That said, my experience is when I open a thread like pics of recent brews I am presented with the post after where I left off on the last visit, so massive threads are not a problem.
When you open a really long thread like Pics of recent Brews, you can click on the most recent timestamp and it will take you to the last entry.
It should be right above the Reply arrow.
