At an estate sale I got a 240v Blichmann BrewCommander. However, there was no temperature probe. Not sure what the type of the male end, that plugs into the controller, might be. Since Blichmann is gone I a, asking the homebrew community. I need some info so I can get the proper plug.
Blichmann was bought by Morebeer. You could ask them.
Talked with Chris of MoreBeer at the homebrew convention and he said they are transferring Bleckmann’s inventory to their warehouse. The process will take weeks. Sales dictates some items that do not sell will not be continued. The people who did tech support no longer work for Blichmann. It may take MoreBeer some time to learn the Blichmann tech or just no longer support some equipment.

Any luck getting a new temp probe?
Not yet still looking for Blichmann probe part# BE-001500-00. I found out that all probes are not equal and I don’t have specs to shop for a compatible replacement.
Brewing has led me down different paths to learn about chemistry, biology, agriculture now electronics.
I’ve been calling Morebeer every couple weeks and they still haven’t received any temperature probes. I ordered a generic probe off Amazon and it did not work. So annoying.
Check the probe against two known temperatures before chasing the controller. If the offset changes across the range the probe or connector is a better suspect than a single calibration setting.
Howdy! So it looks like Cheeky Peak out of Australia resells the same controller under their brand.
The bones are the same, and the temp probe (according to their product page) “Also fits Blichmann Brewcommander.” Keep in Mind that they have two models of this probe, one of which isn’t available. A model 3M and 5M, respectively:
I wonder if the difference for each product is generational, or if they’re designed for different versions of the controller (i.e. 10amp/15amp/32amp)
May be worth reaching out. It looks like they do international shipping if you’re not having luck anywhere else. I might buy a couple, as my last probe shorted out and it would be nice to have a couple on standby in the event morebeer doesn’t continue production.
