Anybody have advice for pubs and inns? We have some guide books and are looking on the net.

We stayed at this lovely B&B near Cockermouth. It’s close to Honistor Pass, which seemed popular with walkers
This hotel is across the road and had a nice dining room and small bar
The Jennings Brewery is in Cockermouth and is a good tour. Their beer Sneck Lifter is one I’ve tried to clone and not come near. I liked their bitter a lot, too.
