I am mad!! and it is going to be ROUGH. But I have some equipment out on lend… so this is going to me ALL ABOUT MAD, brewing… TURNS out - my buddy is not going to be able to bring up my kettle today. Family emergency. So you know what I have
a canning pot 10 gal
a turkey fryer
a 120 qt cooler
3 5 gal paint strainer bags
a 8 gal BIABag #20 RedX #3 8oz Munich 7L #1 8oz Caramunich 46L
1oz Columbus
1oz centennial
3oz cascade
1oz saaz
1oz mt hood
2oz EKG
1oz Willamette
1oz pearl #4 table sugar #5 Dextrose
Super Yeast
American Ale Blend
and Saisonstein monster
I have done 2 in a day several times this year, but concurrently with multiple tuns and kettles. Did the back to back thing once and that was enough of that. would not want to try 2 let alone 3 with just 1 kettle. Good luck and have fun with it
My typical brew day is 2 beers (semi concurrent- back to back). I get the second one into the mash tun while the first one is coming up to a boil. Takes about 7 hours from lighting the burner to putting the equipment away.
Way I figure it right now that’s only 76% efficiency which I am not crazy about but I will take it. Looks like possibly 1.056 on the first and second batch, only chill and 2nd boil will tell final results
