I have been trying to connect my Tower of Power to 3 different Lap tops, with Widows Vista and Windows 7 using the special usb cable supplied, any computer recognizes the new hardware when turned on. Does it need any pre-setup?
Already downloaded the proper driver from the page.

I don’t have any experience with this software but have spent my life troubleshooting HW/SW. Anyone who has worked with this particular software will need to know what error messages you are getting or at least a solid description of what is failing and when in the process.
Not trying to be a jerk but “it doesn’t work” is very hard to troubleshoot from. The more info the better is usually the quickest way to get assistance.
