Came across this on the homebrewing subreddit, too funny. Maybe a good reminder to us all.

You might be a redneck when…
You return your dirty carboy to walmart to get your 6 bucks back…
No, Wal Mart sells 5 gallon water jugs that this jackass uses as a fermentor and then returns without cleaning.
Maybe he’s on this forum? Lurking…heading to Wal Mart as we speak.
;D. People still read the newspaper?
I say hells yes.
All the world is increasingly technical,
and it is helpful to recall that all things need not be complicated.
Cheers to bathtubs and the smell of wort on Sunday morning.
I’ve been brewing 20 years and read every brewing book I can get my hands on and I thought I knew a lot. But after a year on this forum I’ve learned a LOT. Thanks to all for that. I don’t think he’s on this forum. If he was he surely wouldn’t be pitching at 200 degrees!
Edit: oops! He pitches at 100 degrees
+1. Been brewing that long and have learned a TON on this forum in a couple years too . As great as some of the books are, the collective know how of a few hundred people is pretty sizeable. Yeah, and I don’t think too many guys here pitch @ boiling either.
