I love it! Charles Finkel is a legend, he founded the beer importer Merchant du Vin and owns Pike Brewing. Man, he looks young! They all do, a lot of those people are still active in the local beer scene. 
Hilarious. Thomas Kemper was new, “the only small brewery making lager west of the Mississippi.” 25 kegs a week. Red Hook still in Ballard. We’ve come a long way.
I loved the cameos of Grants as well, something that brings a nostalgic smile. I played for years in a local pipe band, and any time I’d be through Yakima I’d take my pipes along and stop by Grant’s. If you’d play in the pub for 15 minutes, Bert would buy you a burger. He had a reputation for being kind of a cantankerous old codger, but I always enjoyed him.
