Unwritten rule for Pro Brewers

Is there some unwritten rule for pro brewers that they have to sport facial hair?  Just seems that most do.  I’ve stopped shaving just in case.

Have you been to NHC before?  Seems like 90+% of the men have facial hair.  I think it has to do with brewing in general.

Pro brewers don’t have enough time in day to shave and can’t afford razors anyway.

I belive that…brewing is a lot of work. It’s a labor of love for sure.

I recognize a bunch of people in that picture, including the guy who is 7’ tall (behind yellow shirt) and you Jeff, and Ken and Karin of course. :slight_smile:

75% of the people in the photo have facial hair.  The others are guests and don’t brew.  :smiley:

Given my general state of wakefulness (or lack thereof) every morning at 5:30 I would almost definitely slash my throat with one of those.
