Video Arcade Games That You Would Love To Get Your Hands on Again

Well???

1vertical would like to play Williams Defender again

or Taito’s Qix…

How bout you, any of those ole games you wanna see return?
pac-man?
Donky Kong?

Discs of Tron

I changed mine. Awkward and uncoordinated I still got kinda good at it. Time Pilot.

Here in Denver this past Spring they opened up a bar/arcade called 1up. They have 30 machines setup and are constantly rotating them out for new ones they get in. All the arcades are pre 1995 games. They have a bunch of skee ball machines and 14 pinball machines. They also have Jenga that you can play with 8" long pieces of 2"x4"s. Some of these Jenga games get so tall people are standing on tables/chairs. It’s a blast to go in there have a bunch of beers and play all the old games I grew up with as a kid.

I realize it’s not video, BUT . . .

The Captain Fantastic pinball machine . . I used to go to Aladdin’s Castle in the mall w/ $1 in quarters, and with all the bonuses, play that thing for 2 hours straight . . .

galaga.

Pong

Actually I was just thinking  of the old game Vanguard the other day.

Asteroids II
Millipede
Joust
Pole Position

I used to love Time Pilot, that was my favorite game “back in the day”.

Tron was another great one.

Pick up an Xbox 360.  Through the Xbox 360 Live Arcade, you can download & play every one of those games - including Time Pilot.

The sit-down version of Ms. Pac Man.  You can sit your beer down on it while you play.

The bike shop I frequent has Joust in it.  I never play it, but all my friends who go there are all about it.  It’s a pretty cool game, but I never got much into gaming.

Oh that reminds me… how about the sit down version of Star Trek?

I’ve always thought it would be funny to have th old original Pong table in the corner of the basement.  It was always entertaining to sit in the bowling alley in my hometown and watch the “old guys” pump quarters in and get all pi55ed off over losing.   ;D

Paul

I love pinball.  My all time favorite machine is Bally’s Fireball.

I won a lot of money playing that machine.

When I was in highschool there was a star wars x wing game at a local store. all wire frame graphics but it was awesome, spent a lot of money and a lot of quarters on that game.

Asteroids
Dig Dug
BumpNJump

Choplifter, Dig Dug, Moon Patrol, and Russian Attack.

FWIW, if you are into downloading emulkators, and ROM’s, pretty much any classic stand up game can be yours.

www.classicgaming.com    The emulator called “mame” is the crap.  8) 8)    (this message will self destruct)
