Vierka light lager and dark Munich dry yeast

Anyone had any experience with these yeasts, especially starting/pitching?  Any knowledge would be helpful.

Now that’s a blast from the past.  I haven’t used Vierka lager yeast in 20 years, and didn’t even know it was still available.

It wasn’t bad.  I recall it wasn’t exceptionally clean, and I was excited to switch to the liquid lager cultures once they became available.  It certainly was a step up from the Red Star lager yeast that I first started brewing with in 1990.

I recall the Munich yeast made a passable bock.  But, this was 20 years ago.
