I was watching the news and the weatherman said a word I haven’t heard in a while… El Nino.  Is this year an El Nino year?  If it is then the next few years ought to bring in some warm weather.

don’t be alarmed, El Nino is a techincal term used by forcasters , it simply means …El Nino = We have no clue !

I did a little searching and it appears this is the start of El Nino year(s).  I guess the floods in Peru should have been a clue for us all.

Just in case anyone’s curious, “el niño” is actually Spanish for “the niño”.

I was just about to post that!  RIP Mr Farley.

Yep, it’s an El Nino year.  we’re feeling the effects of it in the PNW.

I miss Chris Farley…
