so we are having our summer office party and started thinking i should have brewed a beer for this. (last year i brought some vienna) then i was thinking that we also do a christmas party. so i am thinking of brewing this beer. anyone have any ideas that would make this beer a little unique/special? (in my office there are three men and about 15 ladies - of course their husbands tend to show up.

i would be careful on the DP - dark munich has very low DP(~25), as does rye IIRC, vienna is higher (~50), but that’s only enough to convert itself plus a little more.

You may think about doing either a longer mash (90-120min) or incorporating some pilsner or two row malt to up the equation.

good luck.
