What is beer wort? And how do you make it?
Wort is what man makes and yeast ultimately turn into beer. How to make it. That requires a answer possibly too long for this thread. Could be as easy buying malt extract, typically from barley, to mashing yourself. If your interested in getting started, I would recommend getting “How to Brew” by Palmer and working through that. It will walk you through the entire process and will show you the steps from malt extract through all grain. If you have questions folks here love to help.
I definitely agree about reading up on brewing, you won’t be disappointed! Brewing is very fun, and satisfying. To give a very broad answer to your question, the process of making wort involves steeping malted grains in water and holding at a specific temperature(s) to allow certain enzymes to convert the grain starches into fermentable sugars, after enzyme activity is finished the brewer boils and makes additions of hops. The liquid that is now ready to ferment is your wort (btw, it’s very delicious even before you ferment and turn it into beer)
