Ok,
so who’s already attempting to eclipse their pace from last year?

in the works is the rhubarb and rye i have been planning. hopefully in fermenter by end of the month.
Hopefully a lagunitas IPA clone for the midwife that delivered my new baby in november. course I have a new baby so who knows if I will get to it
Yep, absolutely looking to eclipse last year. I’m brewing up a batch of my Nut Brown Ale as I continue to perfect the recipe. Will probably be moving my English IPA to secondary to start the aging. With any luck I’ll be able to let it age 9 months before I run out of patience.
Heading up to Philly specifically Capozzoli’s Metalworks Cafe to get the finishing touches done on my single tier brewstand. Cap is going to do some TIG welding i.e. fit and weld burner brackets, pump brackets, etc…
No brewing this weekend.
No brewing (its COLD in Indy)… so its PROJECT week!
no brewing this weekend, just kegging work and such.
No brewing this weekend but I have got to do something about this keg emptying situation that is becoming so prevalent in my serving area. My pale lager, my IPA and my Belgian IPA hit the dregs in the last two days. If I don’t brew soon I will run out of homebrew and have to rely on the purchasing power of money I may not have.
Oh, wait, I can keg some more light lager and bock and I’ve got a Tripel and a mead fermenting. I should relax.
Winter Warmer tomorrow (again) and Schwarzbier this weekend.
No brewing this weekend but I will definitely eclipse my pace from last year though. Dates are marked on the calendar! Got a couple new kegs to clean up this weekend and thats about it.
Pecan wood raucbier Friday, alt on Sunday. The thread on alt recipes has been great, the timing was perfect.
Not brewing this weekend. Did a mild on Monday past. Will be finishing up the stonework on my fireplace (pointing). Hopefully relax and watch some football and drink some beer.
Starting the boil now for a Strong Blond (1.065) batch #2 of the yr :-*
German pils using the yeast from the one I did a few weeks back. Gotta get those lagers in while the weather cooperates!
just tea this weekend, gotta work
SMaSH IPA here as profiled in another thread. Marris Otter, hop-bursted with Columbus, US-05.
Got a bunch of new gear to try out too - new keggle, 210K BTU burner, and refractometer. Can’t wait - was hoping to have brewed twice over Christmas\New Year’s break and did nothing due to sickness spreading around the family.
Saturday is our new club’s Huge Brew day, we’ll be doing an 80 gal batch of IIPA to fill up a new 3bbl fermenter that one of our members needs to test - he’s going pro (he’s actually got 4 of them). On his system it takes two mash/boils to fill it so it will be a long, fun day and we’ll all bring kegs to fill when it’s done.
Mead here too. Pyment actually. Just a 3 gallon batch. OG 1.124 & pitched Lalvin ICV-K1 (V1116). I’m thinking this one might be good in a year or two. Also moved 5 gallons each of a Doppelbock & Bock to kegs to lager. Cheers!!!
No brewing for me this weekend. Have to fly to Orlando tomorrow afternoon for a meeting on Monday. Maybe next weekend…
