What's Brewing This Weekend - 12/16 Edition

December 16th? How in Beelzebub’s bloody blue blazes?

What’s on tap my fellow brewers?

No brewing this weekend. Kegging a Mango Agave Pale Ale & developing an Imperial Stout recipe while sipping our Imperial IPA.

Dogfish Brewery Tour on Friday afternoon!

Kegging my AAA and more cellar organization. No brewing this weekend…I’m taking a weekend off after brewing the last three in a row to collect my beer.  ;D

hopefully bottling my rum barrel barley wine.

Attempting an Arrogant Bastard clone…

Doing 5 gals of steam today and either 5 gals of pilsner or 5 gals of APA tomorrow.  Both yeast are re-pitches so they’re ready to go.  Whichever one doesn’t get done will be done on Monday.
Somehow my beer reserves have dwindled and I need to get caught back up.  Hate to have a winter storm and get caught with less than 40 gals of emergency beer.

Couple of requests being brewed this weekend

HazelNut Coffee Porter

and what Im dubbing, Cupid Stout

A Chocolate Milk Stout with strawberry flavoring added.

Steam Beer and a request for another Pumpkin Ale.  First time brewing a Pumpkin Ale without a real pumpkin.  Got the rice hulls ready!

brewed up an IPA!!

Kegging 10 gallons of Marzen & brewing 10 gallons of Bo-Pils. Cheers, and Happy Brewing!!!

Jamil’s Westcoast Blaster malt bill and bittering with 3 lbs of rye and Cascade and Citra for flavor, aroma, and dry hop…

Kegging German Pils and Timothy Taylor Landlord, both of which have been dry hopped while I consumed the first five gallons in each keg.  It should be interesting to try to compare.

Baltic Porter that should have been brewed last weekend (thank you virus season).

Lots of hops on hand. 10g of Pliny the Elder it is then…  ;)

Brewing a Belgian single with some D-45 candi syrup on Sunday while teaching a friend to brew

I was gifted a pound of midnight wheat and I think I’ll use it to make a black IPA.  I’m going to try pressurized fermentation, have the spunding valve set up and the Brewhemoth is sanitized and ready to go.

bottling my half of a split batch IPA. i brewed a 10G batch with a friend that is relatively new to brewing. we split it and  pitched 1056 in his while i used West Yorkshire.

brewing a robust porter. planning to split into 2 batches, one with London III and one with West Yorkshire.

what can i say, i really like that strain.

Chores this weekend, racking my Schwarzbier and doting over my fermenting Pils, cleaning Cornies and converting two ten gallon Cornies to fermenters.

Provided I get my ingredients tomorrow, I will be brewing a Sierra Nevada Celebration Clone. (I have fallen in love with this beer).  Also, my witbier and pale ale should be ready to drink so I will be enjoying some of those as well.

You and my wife. A great, simple recipe.
