What's Brewing This Weekend - 7/9 Edition

Looks like I’m brewing a starter Saison to build up reserves for a big Saison brew.

I’m virtually out of beer and once again no time to brew… :frowning:

Brewing up 11 gallons of Saison over at redbeerman’s brewery this Saturday.

What???

Out of beer Denny  :o

Better get brewing soon.

Well it’s about time!  I cry a little bit harder every day I see the “Nada” under burbling…

And Denny, what the heck is going on?!?  Maybe the AHA is working you guys a little too hard!  :o

I’m brewing another club barrel project this weekend.  We’ll be filling a French Oak Merlot barrel with a big stout.  Hopefully some of that winey/oakiness comes through!

Brewing up an Oktoberfest this weekend so it’s ready by, you know, October.

Oktoberfests are in September.

You’re telling me!  I’ve got 4 kegs set aside for my wife’s b’day party next weekend, and I’m praying there are some leftovers!

Berliner Weisse right now

Running it off into a bucket
Covering it for a few days while we go away camping.
When we get home I’ll put it in a carboy and throw some US-05 at it

Guy in the club made one using this method and the beer is tremendous

Well, this one should be ready by then.  I like to err on the side of caution.

Gonna brew a nice ale with some US-05, hopefully just a nice amber drinkable ale…

Calling it the American Farmhouse Ale… ;D

Dampfbier!

Avery Old Jubilation clone.

Nothing brewing this weekend.  I will be bottling my first batch of “Mad Scientist Amber Ale” Monday Night.  Eventually I’ll learn to have two going at once or as I’m bottling one work on another.  I may need to buy stock in bottles though.  Until I brew again, I will be working on improving my fermenter and getting a bigger brew pot.

Too Late for you…ha ha ha ha ha…you are BITTEN…you need to buy a Keg setup and stop messing with bottles…

when you do, life gets easier…plus you can always bottle from the keg.

great, great beer - in April of this year, I took BOS at a comp with my 2007 batch of that beer.

no brewing or anything brew related this weekend

I am going to smoke 150 pounds of malt this weekend.
I know, you’re all asking where am I going to get papers that big, but I get to help brew a collaboration beer at a friend’s brewery next weekend.  I’ll post some pictures of my smoker in action.

i am curious to know how this turns out…please let us know

I have Monday and Tuesday off and am Home Alone as well those days… so I’m going to brew SOMEthing. I have been thinking about brewing Hard & Hardy, the English barleywine from Brewing Classic Styles, to set aside for the Christmas season. But Denny’s Rye IPA came out so good I am tempted to brew it again…

You’ve got me really excited now! This is the first time I’ve made it. So . . based on your timeline, are you suggesting the beer won’t reach its zenith for a couple of years?
