Where to get Promash?

With the site temporarily defunct, and my interest in the software increasing, where can I get a legitimate copy of the software?

I don’t think it’s possible anymore. Someone might have a copy of the software they’d be willing to send you though.

I was able to find a copy of the software.

Very nice. Once I migrate some of my stuff over to it and set it up it looks as if it will be all I need.

Anyone know how to copy recipe (.rec) files from Promash to a separate folder?

I only have the evaluation version and i’d like to be able to store recipes elsewhere to get around the limit. I can’t seem to find where the recipes are stored. My created recipes dont show upin the recipes folder.

Just do a computer file search for *.rec

IIRC, they go to the documents folder by default.  But a search is a good idea.

I searched and they don’t show up but they show in Promash. Maybe it has something to do with it being the evaluation version.

Is there any way to get a copy of the full software at this point?

Not that I’m aware of.  Unfortunately…

I have it on floppy disc, but I’d have to check to see if I still have the validation codes.

Not in the legal sense, no.

Thanks for the responses. Back to the drawing board. I shouldn’t have downloaded the trail version. I had a feeling I was going to like it and with it being unavailable I was inviting disappointment!

If you make changes to the ingredient directories does it save it to the .dat files?

Yep.  If you;re on FB you may be able to find Jeff Donovan there.  Whether or not he’ll answer questions I don’t know.
