Which beer would you close with on the GABF weekend?

So I am sitting at home thinking back to this long 4 day weekend for me.
I worked 3 shifts a day on Thursday and Friday. The last one each day
was serving at the GABF…

Saturday I got to sleep in, then attend the GABF with a great pile of friends.

So here it is Sunday. My last day off. and I am tired. It has been a L  O  N  G  weekend.

I decided to have a beer. But then it hit me, if I could pick a beer to “Close the GABF weekend”
which one would it be?

I don’t have a particular one, but am curious to see the answers.

To be fair I did have a Session Lager from Full Sail…

I dunno, but you are looking…FINE …Ruben…FINE
the way your blond hair offsets your dark beard and those Gams…WOW
looks like you been hauling Snake River kegs up the grand teton…

If it were me, and I could find any…try a “duck duck goose” by the Lost Abbey Brewery…really good.
Really difficult to obtain.

I would have to chose Pliny…

It’s really hard to get on the East Coast plus it was probably at it’s peak of freshness for the GABF.

I think I would be going for something more session-like than an I2PA.  A refreshing low gravity English bitter sounds good to me after a huge beer weekend.  Plenty of beer flavor, but not so damaging to the liver.

The last time I was there I stopped at the Falling Rock on Sunday just to experience the place when it was crammed asses to elbows. I just wanted a sandwich and was honestly thinking “no beer… too much beer” until Chris sold me on his remedy - a nice refreshing Berliner Weiss.

I did feel better after that!

I stopped in at the Falling Rock yesterday afternoon too.  Surprising to see how many GABFers were still there.

Ruben…Follow through!  ???

What? I had a Full Sail Session Lager. The picture distracted you didn’t it?

It did!  I thought you had that full sail before the end of the event and wanted to know what to do next…
