Somewhat relevant.  8)

I’m surprised Yakima (Centtral WA) was so high. Must be all the clouds in the winter.

Who gets woman to tell them their weight?

Just wondering…

as they say, the rain in spain falls mainlyin seattle

Interesting…Springfield OR is #25 on the list, but Eugene isn’t listed.  Strange, since they’re connected!  And obviously they only look at “large” cities…we get about 3 times as much rain at my house as either Springfield or Eugene.

You can have that prize!

I love some moss n nana slugs,
ginormous forests
ocean n land interface…

but man, The Sun I cannot do without.

I like that we took the top 15 slots. I think my favorite part is that they put Issaquah Plateau as their own city. Win.

Oh, and Denny, Eugene is right above Springfield on that list.

DOH!  Makes sense…

The strange part is that those two lists overlap. Apparently they only survey about 200 counties.

I am stationed in England so you all lose.  Bellingham is like the damn French Riviera compared to here.  Who wants a bitter!

How bad is it?  I don’t know what data they used to arrive at 35% for Bellingham, but Seattle averages ~70 sunny days a year.  Clearly they didn’t use that.

Perhaps the Coppertone sales in the PNW are pretty lean.  :-\

I see Detroit made the list. What a God forsaken place in the winter. Everything is gray from the ground to the sky. Even the women start looking gray after a while.

I notice no SC cities are listed. That’s because even though there is the occasional cloudy weather, the unrelenting Sun beating down in the Summer with 100+ % humdity. One day like that counts for 2 or 3 in other places.

Sales for sunglasses are brisk though - because we go so long without it, by the next time the sun comes out no one has any idea where theirs are.
