I’m enjoying a nice Pilsner Urquell with Clamato. Is that a foul?
People in Prague all got a stomach ache without knowing why :-[
just the clamato is foul. the beer doesn’t even enter in to the question.
yes, yes drinking calmato is foul. Truly, deeply foul. (Just, like, my opinion, man)
To each his own on the Clamato, but is that the only beer you had to mix it with? Just get a six of Bud!
Bi-valves are not meant to be beverages.
Oh, dude…yeah, that’s wrong. Pilsner Urquell is tasty on its own, why would you deface it like that? I had clamato once at a beer festival, the AB table was handing them out. I said what the hell. Opened it, took a drink and nearly puked. That sh*t really is foul.
There’s really nothing you can do with a Clamato to make it not foul, except not opening it. Once you open it you’ll have to pour it somewhere-it’s not fair to punish bacteria in your gut, the ground or septic tank with that vile stuff. Pilsner Urquell does go very well with sliced cheeses and dry salami.
Give it to your BEST friends…
the fact that you are enjoying it is what is truly disturbing.
I like a red beer. But with V-8 not Clamato. Sometimes with some Tabasco.
Are you doing this with a homebrew? Because that sounds sacrilegious.
If you enjoy it, it’s all good, bro!
No, he said Pilsner Urquell, which is a good beer on its own. To wreck it with clamato is sacrilegious.
While I agree with what Keith has to say, he did ask if it was wrong…
Why not a dozen clams on the half-shell rinsed down with the Pilsner Urquell? Or a bucket of steamers?
I agree Clamato is some foul stuff…
Dave
There’s just not enough claminess in it.
I get clammy just thinking about it.
Actually I just thought that if clamato and cheap is good, why not with a better beer. And I was so right. PU brings a nice graininess to the show. I don’t thing clamato and chimay would work though
You lose me when you start using “clamato” and “good” in the same sentence.
To each his own. I really enjoy clamato with a Pacifico (I live in Mazatlan, so I get it really cheap), and I would much rather have a Corona with clamato than the Corona by itself.
